Repair or replace?

Hinge sag on a heavy composite door
Three-hinged composite, top hinge bolt has worked loose under the slab weight, the latch is now half an inch low on the keep. Replace the hinge bolt, adjust the strike plate, the door closes cleanly again.
Cold morning, lock refuses to turn
Cylinder pins seize in cold or wet weather where the lubricant has dried. A proper graphite service, sometimes a pin swap, usually solves it for several years.
Cylinder grinding when you turn the key
Sounds wrong, feels wrong, but still working. Pin wear or debris inside. Catch it before a pin breaks and strands the key half-turned.
Latch doesn't catch when the door swings shut
Wind blows the door, it doesn't latch, you wake up to an open front door. Latch spring, keep alignment, or the latch face has worn. Cheap fix, big peace-of-mind upgrade.
Banham retrofit needs a service, not replacement
